I entered the U.S. Army in July 1966 thru July 1968 where I served as
logistical support services, stationed in the Republic of Panama. I
returned home and went to work for Mosquito Control in Palm Valley,
Florida, and then went to work for the St. Johns County Sherriff's Office
in 1973 until my retirement on June 30, 2003. During my career I attended
numerous law enforcement schools including traffic homicide investigation
and traffic crash reconstruction. I was also certified as a drug interdiction
officer and an expert pistol shot.
During his term as Commander of Post 233, replaced the roof on
the entire Post which was in dire need of replacing.

Some of the events during his term was the 1st annual Nease High
School Football Team appreciation day, pig roast, bonfire &
oyster roast, children's Christmas party, two Fish Fry Golf Tournaments
one to raise money for a new roof, a Sun Cruz Day Casino Boat Trip
and numerous other successful fundraising events.
Chief Chef for the “Cowboys” cook team which hosts the
Annual Cowboy Night at Post 233
